SINGAMAJIGGIN' WITH MR. MARK

Original Songs • Original Instruments • Serious Silliness

Silly songs about the joys — and absurdities — of family life, ridiculous instruments, percussion and plenty of audience participation.

Kids don't just watch. They sing, dance, make choices and become part of what happens next.

No two Singamajiggin' shows need to be exactly alike. Drawing from more than 20 years of original songs, characters, instruments and routines, Mr. Mark shapes the show for the audience in front of him.

Come ready to play.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A MR. MARK SHOW?

It starts with a song. Then somebody makes a noise. Somebody else gets an idea. And before long, the audience is part of the show.

Mr. Mark mixes original songs, live percussion, strange musical inventions, stories and comedy with lots of opportunities for kids to join in.

Sometimes they sing. Sometimes they keep the beat. Sometimes they make the sound effects. And sometimes Mr. Mark isn't entirely sure what they're going to do.

You never quite know what might happen next.

SONGS ABOUT BEING A KID

SILLY • FAMILIAR • JUST A LITTLE RIDICULOUS

Mr. Mark’s songs find the funny in everyday kid and family life — the things kids do, the things parents do, and the things everybody recognizes but nobody thought to write a song about.

There are songs to sing, songs to move to and songs that may cause an entire room full of children to dissolve into giggles.

Because sometimes the silliest things are the things we have in common.

IF IT MAKES A SOUND...

WASHBOARDS • JUNK • PERCUSSION

A Mr. Mark show is full of things that probably weren't designed to be musical instruments.

Washboard, buckets, horns, bells, junk — if it makes an interesting sound, chances are Mark has tried to play it.

Some instruments are familiar. Some are invented. Some are a little difficult to explain.

And sometimes the audience gets to play too.

A SHOW THAT FITS YOUR SPACE

ADAPTABLE • READY TO PLAY

Every audience is different. Every room is different. A Mr. Mark show is designed to adapt.

From an intimate audience to a full theatre, the performance can adapt to fit the space while keeping the important things the same: original music, audience participation and plenty of unexpected moments.

Big room or small, the idea is simple: bring people together and play.
